A WELCOMED VISIT
The Great Lakes Cruise Company`s the Yorktown cruises into Summerside Harbour, Monday morning. The vessel arrived in Summerside bringing with her 150 passengers and crew. It will return again on Sept. 11 and 25 and Saturday, Oct. 5. Renovated in 2009, the Yorktown was built in Florida in 1988 specifically for coastal cruising. It is 257-feet long, 43-feet wide with a draft of eight feet and able to manoeuvre in secluded waterways and visit small ports.
